Our team is here to answer every question before you decide anything.
We know the idea of a clinical trial can feel daunting. Here’s exactly how the process works, step by step.
Fill in the short form or call us. There’s no obligation. We just want to understand which study you’re interested in and capture some basic details.
One of our coordinators will contact you to ask a few eligibility questions over the phone. This usually takes less than 10 minutes.
If you appear to be a suitable candidate, we’ll invite you in for a formal screening visit. This may include a brief review of your medical history, simple tests, and a full explanation of the study.
Before anything begins, you’ll sit down with our investigator to go through the study in full detail. You can ask every question you have and have all your questions answered. Participation is completely voluntary.
You’ll follow a scheduled visit plan with our team by your side every step of the way. We’ll manage your timeline, keep you informed, and support you throughout.
Once your participation concludes, our team will guide you through the follow-up phase and keep you in the loop on any outcomes.
Got questions? We’ve answered the most common ones below. If you need more info, just enquire and we’ll be happy to help.
Many people with Coeliac Disease continue to experience symptoms even when following a strict gluten-free diet, often because tiny amounts of gluten still get through. The study is designed to test whether ZED1227, alongside your gluten-free diet, can reduce the impact of any unavoidable exposure.
Our clinic is in Maroochydore. Most participants travel from within the Sunshine Coast region including Noosa, Caloundra, and surrounding areas. Travel reimbursement is available for this study to help cover your time on the road.
Nothing. All study-related visits, tests, and medications are provided at no cost. Travel reimbursement is also available.
Eligibility criteria are set by the study sponsor and are designed to keep participants safe and the research reliable. If you don’t qualify for this study, we’ll let you know clearly and may be able to match you to a future trial. With your permission, we’ll add you to our participant register so we can reach out when something suitable opens up.
Every study we run has been reviewed by an independent ethics committee and approved under Australian regulatory standards. Over 500 patients have already received ZED1227 in previous clinical studies.
Participation is always voluntary. You can withdraw at any time, for any reason, with no impact on your regular medical care.
