A Phase 3 clinical research study testing how safe and well an investigational medicine works for adults living with obstructive sleep apnoea and obesity or overweight. The study is investigating whether the medicine can help with breathing during sleep and support weight loss.

About 1 year and 6 months in total.

After health checks confirm you’re suitable, you’ll be randomly assigned to either the investigational medicine group or the placebo group. You give yourself an injection once a week. You’ll attend scheduled visits with our team, most in person at the clinic and some by phone or video call.

A clinical research study is a medical study that helps answer important questions about investigational medicines, such as: is it safe, does it work, and are there side effects. All medicines must be tested in clinical research studies before they can be approved for doctors to prescribe.

The study is sponsored by Eli Lilly and Company. At our site, you’ll be looked after by a study doctor and a dedicated research team including nurses, coordinators and other health professionals.

Yes. With your consent, we keep your GP updated throughout the study.
