Penny has been an endorsed enrolled nurse for over 30 years having lots of hands-on nursing experience in both public and private hospitals. She also enjoyed sharing her skills in General Practice in nursing with a special interest in Type 1 diabetes and mental health.
She moved to the Sunshine Coast in 1995 and eventually branched into Research in 2018 where she has gained experience in clinical trials. She recently joined the team at Coastal Digestive Health as our Bowel Prep nurse and research study nurse.
She loves walking her 2 dachshunds on the beach and spending time with family and loves a good chat.
Clinical trials are important because they serve as the foundation for most medical advances.
