Sarah graduated in 1998 with a Bachelor of Nursing degree from Taranaki Polytech in New Zealand. Since that time she has worked in various roles in NZ, Australia and Dubai. Her experience includes medical and surgical nursing, community and aged care. Since 2021 her focus has been in the area of research, specifically phase I-IV clinical trials.
In her role at NZ Clinical Research in Christchurch, Sarah gained the necessary skill set required to facilitate the processes involved in running a clinical trial.
Since moving to the beautiful Sunshine Coast and joining CDHRI earlier this year, Sarah has enjoyed new challenges in her role as a Research Nurse, and is looking forward to furthering her knowledge in the exciting area of Clinical Research.
Clinical trials are important because they serve as the foundation for most medical advances.
