Dr Patricia Smart

Dr Patricia Smart obtained her medical degree from the University of Queensland in 1995. She went on to work at Nambour Hospital and Ipswich Hospital before undertaking specialist training in General Practice. Patricia has worked in General Practice for over 20 years, while also working in roles as a medical educator and training of GP registrars.

In recent years she has developed an interest in clinical research and has worked on trials in rheumatology, gastroenterology and obesity management. Patricia has three children and two dogs and her other interests include hiking, travelling and learning French.
